I am excited to start using the book with my students. I was expecting a bit of a narrative in this book with advice and/or information on the best practices based on research to teach reading. I was hoping it was a book with what worked and didn’t work but instead it is all of the actual lessons to implement with struggling readers. I hope to update this review in a few months to 5 stars after I have successfully followed the lessons and my students can read!!!!
