Afterwords: 75 Everyday People Answer 15 Common Questions About the Afterlife

The most important conversation on Earth starts with a question. What happens when we die? But it’s a conversation many people never have and there’s a simple reason. Instead of death, we should be talking about life, the afterlife. Afterwords was written to make that conversation easier. The voices in it are your neighbors, friends, family members, and co-workers; people you trust because they are no different than you. More than 1,100 comments and stories will touch, inspire, amuse, and at times, amaze you.

The depth of insight from everyday people in Afterwords is a reminder that the afterlife and other eternal questions do not belong just to religions, gurus, or other experts. We each have our own piece of the puzzle, and it’s an important one. In whatever way you envision it, putting words to eternity will contribute to your peace of mind here and hereafter. As a bonus, it’s a lot of fun! After all, whether we agree or disagree, we always enjoy hearing from each other.

You are invited to join in on the conversation at www.afterwords.info to read further commentary from the author and also participate in the conversation.

  1. PA Girl

An Enriching Read – Dave Morgan has written a warm, articulate, creatively crafted book which synthesizes the ideas of 75 people who have been asked fifteen stimulating questions about life after life. The concept and scope of the book are amazing. The depth and breadth of response he teased from these people is invigorating and insightful. Dave’s writing is unobtrusive, it is so clean and transparent. There is no effort to impress, only to offer in an easy way what was offered to him. The organizational puzzle which would have stumped many, he seems to have mastered with ease. This book is totally readable, thoroughly engaging, and the type book which we may pick up every few years. As we grow and mature in our faith journeys, this book will accompany us and provide ever deepening insight and delight in the one thing we all will encounter and might wish to be prepared for: life after life. If you believe that you are a spiritual being having a human experience, this book is for you. I recommend it without hesitation.

  2. Kevin R. Williams, Author of “Nothing Better Than Death: Insights From 62 Profound Near-Death Experiences”

Editorial Review – In the tradition of Socrates, educator Dave Morgan asks just the right questions to elicit profound responses about the afterlife, many of which reflect current research on near death experiences and quantum science. And it could not have come at a better time. Science, philosophy, and theology are approaching a point of merger where skepticism will be obsolete. Afterwords is a must read for everyone who wants to discover how all questions about higher knowledge are leading towards the same answers, destinations, and conclusions.
