Jennifer Wilson Cooper

Born on Aug. 9, 1969, Jennifer was raised in Southern California, attended the University of Sussex in Brighton, England, during her junior year abroad, and graduated with BA and MA degrees in English literature from the University of California, Santa Barbara, and San Francisco State University, respectively.

She began her career in San Francisco as a teacher, specializing in writing, literature, and ESL. Later, she worked as a content manager for a global online education company and as a writer for an educational toy company and various book and content publishers.

In addition to her educational writing and editing, Jennifer contributed the chapter “Quantum Aesthetics and Art History” to the book The World of Quantum Culture(Praeger, 2002) and wrote several articles on contemporary Spanish poetry and theory.

Shortly after settling in a small town north of San Francisco with her husband and young son, Jennifer stopped writing professionally when she was diagnosed with ovarian cancer in 2008. After going into remission in late 2009, she started FourSeeds.com in January 2010. The blog started as a writing outlet, but quickly took on a life of its own…
