About the Author

This is Jerilynn Henrikson’s sixth book for kids. As a teacher, mom, and grandmother, she has always enjoyed hearing, reading, writing, and telling stories. She and Patricia Kahn have teamed up to create a three book series of early readers about young Joe and his gardening. No Weeds, No Bugs, No Bunnies is the first in the series.

About the Illustrator

As a lifelong artist, Patricia Kahn, Ph.D. has worked in the areas of commercial interior design, art and medical illustration. She served as the director of an art therapy program, a public school art teacher and a university professor of art education. She currently is involved in art making, teaching art and running an outreach art program in Topeka, Kansas.
