What might happen if you decide your nose is where beans want to hide? Find out one possibility as Grandpa recalls his personal experience as a young boy!
The idea for this funny, frolicking story came from a young friend of the author who happened to have a close encounter with a bean. This whimsically illustrated book will have all young children giggling.
“This is a wonderful teaching tool that really engages children and encourages them to interact. The story and illustrations are captivating. Our class loves this book. We made the story come alive with a coordinating science experiment by watching beans swell in water, then planting and growing beans out of a log. All the children can tell you now…don’t stick a bean up your nose!” —Laura Schmitt-Brake, Head Start, Independence, Kansas
