Four Seeds

Four Seeds: Inspiration, Renewal, Beauty, Love

The beauty of ascension is in every moment!

by Jennifer Wilson Cooper

“My talismans: my husband, my son, my will to survive, the beauty in every fold of the fabric of my life. I’m putting them on display in little snapshots of my life on this blog, to distance myself from the dragon, and to share something with you that I wish I’d seen long ago.” ~ Jennifer Wilson Cooper

In Four Seeds, Jennifer Wilson Cooper invites us in and shares with beauty and inspiring grace her life with cancer. Jennifer identified with Persephone being pulled down into the underworld over and over again. However, like Persephone, Jennifer refused to be a victim. If she was going to be forced to repeatedly return to the underworld, she would take control of what she could and create her own beautiful domain, hopeful and expectant for each change of season.

Four Seeds exemplifies Jennifer’s intention to surround herself with beauty and love and to focus attention on renewal and inspiration. Worldwide, Four Seeds readers continue to draw energy from Jennifer’s inquisitive mind and creative spirit and her strength and tenacity in living out her dreams.

REVIEWS

“I cannot imagine reading this book and not getting something wonderful (many wonderful somethings) from it. Jennifer has a way of uncovering the core beauty of life and the little glimmers that hide in everyday everything. Hers is not an easy journey, the pain isn’t simplified, and the ending is far, far too soon, but this book is filled with hope and love and appreciation. How in the world can a book about living with cancer be filled with hope? Please meet Jennifer. And while through the duration of this book Jennifer is living with cancer and then living in remission, that’s far from the only theme. This book is richly generous with a way of seeing the beauty, feeling what’s good, and appreciating all that life has to offer. This is a book about life. I truly believe reading it will help you to live your own life more abundantly.” -AB

“Jennifer is a very special person and I’m grateful that I will continue to be inspired, by her, through her book.” -ST

She began her career in San Francisco as a teacher, specializing in writing, literature, and ESL. Later, she worked as a content manager for a global online education company and as a writer for an educational toy company and various book and content publishers.

In addition to her educational writing and editing, Jennifer contributed the chapter “Quantum Aesthetics and Art History” to the book The World of Quantum Culture (Praeger, 2002) and wrote several articles on contemporary Spanish poetry and theory.

Shortly after settling in a small town north of San Francisco with her husband and young son, Jennifer stopped writing professionally when she was diagnosed with ovarian cancer in 2008. After going into remission in late 2009, she started FourSeeds.com in January 2010. The blog started as a writing outlet, but quickly took on a life of its own…
